Sunrise
The top of the sun clears the horizon. SunZones counts down to it on the card and on the home-screen widget, and can remind you a few minutes before.
SunZones shows the sun, golden hour, twilight and the moon for each place you save, in that place's local time. All of it is calculated on your Android phone.
Free for three places. Android 8.0 or later, in 20 languages.
Scroll, and the card follows today's sun. Every time on this page is calculated for today, in the city's own time zone.
06:30
The top of the sun clears the horizon. SunZones counts down to it on the card and on the home-screen widget, and can remind you a few minutes before.
11:20
The sun is halfway along its arc. The card's sky follows it through the day, the same way the app draws it.
15:21
The sun drops below 6° and the light turns low and warm. Pro shows when it starts and can remind you, so the camera is out in time.
16:11
Day length today, and how much it changed since yesterday, stay on the card after the sun is gone.
16:33
Between 4° and 6° below the horizon the sky turns deep blue. Today it lasts 9 minutes.
18:03
At 18° below the horizon the sky is fully dark. Night and Moon shows how much of the night is moonless, the next new moon and when the Milky Way is in season.
The sun keeps a different clock in every city. SunZones reads each one the way the people who live there do.
Search for a city or use your location, and name it the way you think of it: home, Mum's, the cabin.
Swipe between cards. Each one shows sunrise, sunset, day length and the moon in that place's own time, next to yours.
Put the widget on your home screen and turn on reminders, so the next sunrise or sunset finds you.
Each city is read in its own time zone, so Tokyo's sunset is the one people in Tokyo see. The bar is that city's day from midnight to midnight, and the dot is now.
